How I would use Augason Farms Breakfast pack in an emergency? I have spoken with many of my neighbors about ememgency preparedeness over the last 10 years. I know how little they are prepared. If there were an emergency, such as an earthquake, we'd have Breakfst at the Bradford's for the first week after the emergency. Food is important after an emergency. Once people's immediate food & shelter needs are attended to, they can then begin to take care of their other needs.
ReplyDeleteI'd use the eggs, bacon, and pancake mix for my husband and I, and I'd reserve the potato shreds, veggie meat, wheat cereal, and strawberries for my son, since he has food allergies. I think we'd all eat quite well with all this!
ReplyDeleteI would use these in a disaster to eat, of course!
ReplyDeleteMy kids love breakfast for dinner. In a disaster it would be so comforting to be able to continue to do that.
ReplyDeleteDuring an emergengy, it would be so nice to be able to make a traditional breakfast to help us cope. My kids would love the pancakes, bacon and eggs.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win! I would use the items in a disaster to be able to feed myself and my family easily and without a lot of stress. It would be a relief to have good food during a stressful time.
ReplyDeleteI have a fair amount of food storage - but not a lot of 'breakfast' items. I would use this to enjoy my mornings!
ReplyDeleteAfter a disaster, I'd use this Augason Farms Breakfast pack to make a breakfast for as many survivors in my immediate area as possible.
ReplyDeleteIt would be wonderful during a disaster to start the day with a good breakfast. I could see sharing it with those working to clean up, etc.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! I would definitely use the breakfast pack if a disaster struck, in conjunction with our other food storage to provide several meals for my family. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI am serving a full time church mission in Salt Lake City. I would share this breakfast pack with other senior missionaries, we love to fix meals for the young elders also. (those guys eat ALOT!)
ReplyDeleteThis list of breakfast items has my mouth watering! I could see our family enjoying this for a couple of meals. With this meal we could forget that it's for use a time of emergency!
ReplyDeleteI love Augason Farms. Their products are amazing. I hope i win their breakfast goodies.
ReplyDeleteOOPS, If we had a disaster here in Las Vegas, we would definately use this to keep ourselves fit and ready to hike out of here if needed. it seems very simple to pack and take with us if we needed to and yummy as well.
ReplyDeleteI know how important a healthy breakfast would be in case of a disaster. It is the best comfort food and gives you energy to start the day.
ReplyDeleteI think this would be great....breakfast is the most important meal of the day!!!! I would serve to my family.....thanks
ReplyDeleteWhat a great combination of foods. Why waste a perfectly good omelet on breakfast. Omelets are my favorite dinner. Yum. I would prepare them on a small propane stove.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I have recently been working very hard in getting our food storage.....bit by bit. This would really add to what we already have. We just purchased a sun oven and I think it would be fun to try some of this and cook up something unique.
ReplyDeleteWe have been working on our food storage but I do not have much in the area of breakfast foods. My family loves to have breakfast for dinner so I am sure that it would be very comforting in a time of emergency.I would love to have these items as part of my preparedness!
ReplyDeleteWe have been working on our food storage but I do not have much in the area of breakfast items. my family loves to eat breakfast for dinner so I am sure that these would be a real source of comfort during an emergency! I would love to add these items to my food storage! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThey sound great and we don't have a lot of breakfast items. I would make sure I have the needed water stored and fuel for cooking.
ReplyDeleteHow I would use Augason Farms Breakfast pack in an emergency? I would use this addition to my food storage to assist with feeding my neighbors because I suspect they are not as prepared as they should be. The food would assist in bringing the neighbors together in planning any 'next steps' necessary in an emergency.
ReplyDeleteThx

I know using the Augason Farms Breakfast pack would be peace of mind in a disaster. Breakfast foods are comfort foods in my family and in an emergency, it is important to have comfort foods to help with the stress that will be there.
ReplyDeleteI would add it to my food storage that I am trying to get and use it. What a great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful casserole material all of this makes!! I would definatly add it to my food storage, but like all of it, it would be used to share also!! Thanks Augason Farms!!
ReplyDeleteHow wouldn't I use this breakfast pack in a disaster? Judging by the current state of my food storage we would at least be eating good breakfasts!

First, I'd hope and pray that I never actually need to use it in an emergency. And with any luck it would be used up in 5-10 years on a nice camping trip. But having it in case there was an emergency would be wonderful, since we are limited on prepared foods and breakfast foods in general right now.
ReplyDeleteI would use this wonderful food to feed my little family in case of a disaster. As a young mom trying to get my food storage going this would be a great help!!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to the whole preparedness scene, so I do not know a lot about cooking with dried eggs. It seems however that I could figure out how to make a strata with the eggs and bacon. If I have no power I could still use the dutch oven outdoors. I don't think that we are limited to breakfast and breakfast for dinner with those items either. Also, I'm pretty sure I could figure out a dessert with the strawberries and pancake mix or the cereal.
ReplyDeleteI love Augason products! These would be great to maintain "normalcy" in a disaster. Food is the best thing to keep the same when everything else is failing. My kids LOVE this stuff. I would love to have more of it in my storage.
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway! I definitely need this to boost my food storage. Things in this country are getting scarier by the day!
ReplyDeleteI think having a nice hot breakfast would make it easier to face another day of "disaster" - whatever it might be! My family would LOVE these!
ReplyDeleteI would use this to jump start our stockpile. We recently moved form Maine to Texas and have to start over. So if we had an emergency soon, we would be eating these items several times a day.
ReplyDeleteHave just started my food storage and do not have much in the way of breakfast food items. Would love to win this! I think we could use this for Breakfast and for dinners during an emergency.
ReplyDeleteOur food storage could use some pumping up in the breakfast department. This would go a long way for my little family of three! We have the necessary water and fuel needed to prepare lots of yummy breakfasts in an emergency!
ReplyDeletewe would use these as meals in a disaster---right now my food storage is mostly beans, rice and wheat---so this would make the transition of not having access to our norm foods a lot easier

I would use the breakfast items for all 3 meals because breakfast foods are the favorites at my home and in a disaster, favorite foods can be very comforting.
ReplyDeleteI have been through a couple of natural disasters. Hurricanes, tornados, mass evacuation (soooo not letting anyone talk me into THAT one again), stuff like that. Once, after a hurricane, we were lucky. We were only out of power for 8 days. Others went two weeks or more. We used flood water to flush our toilet and a propane camping stove to cook outside. We were able to cook inside with a full sized stove, but with out A/C (no electricity), it made the house way to hot. We were somewhat prepared for this. We had batteries, lanterns, water(to drink) and food. We had food, just not good food. Has anyone ever tasted potted meat? I hadn't until then and I don't plan on doing it again. That is why I have been looking into freeze dried foods and have purchased a dehydrator. I have never actually tried a freeze dried or commercially dehydrated meal. I love my dehydrator though. So far, I like almost everything I have dehydrated. The exception is eggs. Uhhh! Maybe I don't have the technique down or something, but so far so gross! So I would use the prize to determine whether or not to stock these items in my food storage closet. Also, I LOVE freeze dried strawberries!
ReplyDeleteI would love this to have some breakfast foods for breakfast in a disaster. It would be nice to know a few complete breakfasts are taken care of!
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice to have a couple of "nice" breakfasts in a disaster. We have some oatmeal and cereal and cream of wheat stored but we don't have things like potato shreds or bacon or eggs
ReplyDeleteIn an emergency this would come in real handy to help our large family..(six kids & five grandkids)and they're mostly boys so you know how much they can eat. It would also be nice to help out neighbors if they were really hard pressed. What's being offered is good comfort food that would really be a blessing when your stressed out in an emergency.
ReplyDeleteIn a disaster, I would reserve the breakfast pack foods for a particularly trying day when my family was tired of eating cracked wheat and oatmeal and needed a special surprise to lift their spirits.
ReplyDeleteI would use the Augason Farms Breakfast Pack to feed my grown children and their families (who would probably come home if they could), as well as to provide some nutrition to unprepared neighbors. People can live on one meal a day -- I would try to make the pack last as long as I could. I am just starting to store food and supplies for emergencies, and this would be a great help!
ReplyDeleteNever tried their products and would love too!!! I would use the food to feed my family and any neighbors/friends that may want to join. The food sounds delicious!!!

It would be wonderful knowing that our family would have some good nutrition if ever an emergency fell upon us. Our kids love breakfast anytime of the day so this would definitely make their day!
